| Motion: |
| I move to approve Resolution No.09-159. |
| Background: |
The Public Works Department conducted the final inspection of the streets improvements located in Sierra Montana Crossings, on September 17, 2009, totaling 12,938 SY (approx 1.14 lane miles). Currently the city of Surprise maintains 1,342.74 lane miles of paved roadway. Upon acceptance of the roadways on today's agenda the city will maintain 1,344.92 lane miles of paved roadway.
| Financial Impact Statement: |
Acceptance of streets, water and wastewater infrastructure increases the city’s asset base and adds to future maintenance commitments. The anticipated incremental additional maintenance expense, associated with the acceptance of these infrastructure items, will be incorporated in future operational and capital budgets for streets, water and wastewater.
