Motion:
I move to approve Resolution No.09-160.
Background:
The Public Works Department conducted the final inspection of the streets and public water and sewer utilities located in Shoppes at Surprise Pointe, on September 8, 2009 totaling 11,309 SY (approx 1.043 lane miles). Currently the city of Surprise maintains 1,342.74 lane miles of paved roadway.  Upon acceptance of the roadways on today's agenda the City will maintain 1344.92 lane miles of paved roadway.
Financial Impact Statement:
Acceptance of streets, water and wastewater infrastructure increases the city’s asset base and adds to future maintenance commitments. The anticipated incremental additional maintenance expense, associated with the acceptance of these infrastructure items, will be incorporated in future operational and capital budgets for streets, water and wastewater.
