| Background: |
|
The prospective licensee has applied to occupy a portion of Building A at the AZ TechCelerator for office use. Athena Wireless has patented technologies aimed at providing solutions for high capacity connections and data transmission. Athena Wireless’s technologies have applications aimed at banking, telemedicine and other industries. The company intends to occupy space for three years within the AZ TechCelerator commencing October 23, 2009, and the company anticipates creating 200 Surprise-based employees within the next five years.

| Financial Impact Statement: |
|
Existing expenditures for AZ TechCelerator facility and landscape maintenance have already been approved as a part of the FY 2010 budget. Licensees will pay a monthly common area maintenance fee, calculated using the percentage of licensed square footage and the actual cost of common area maintenance and landscape maintenance charges. Revenues are anticipated to begin July 1, 2010 and will be incorporated as a part of the FY 2011 budget.
